Hebble Cottage is registered to provide accommodation for up to 2 children and can provide education and therapy should these option be required.

Hebble Cottage is located in a quiet village suburb of Kirklees and provides a family approach with a view to providing a warm, nurturing and stable environment for the young people we care for. This means providing positive adult role models, comfortable accommodation, a range of leisure and recreational opportunities, healthy and nutritious food, educational opportunities and seeking to maximise the individual children’s strengths and potential in order to meet their individual needs.

Our ethos at Hebble Cottage is to provide a warm welcoming, nurturing and stable environment. This is designed to positively promote the well-being and safety of ‘Looked After’ children and young people for whom residential care is the best option. Hebble Cottage is a home providing medium to long term care.

Extracts taken from the November 2023’s Ofsted report:-

“The registered manager is highly respected by the staff and other professionals. She has a hands-on approach and has created a culture where there are high aspirations for the children to succeed in life.

“The social worker said that the registered manager fought for what was right for the child at that time and this was the right decision.”

“The trusting relationships that the children have with the registered manager and the staff enable the children to be open and honest.”

“The registered manager and staff know the children exceptionally well and are attuned to the children’s individual needs. Staff notice subtle changes in the children’s mood or presentation, and they mitigate any potential for disruption before it escalates.”

The standard of care that the children receive is excellent and mirrors that provided by a good parent.”
